I have to say I, too, am finding less and less time to be on the forum these days. My energy level is back to normal, I'm totally off pain meds, able to do all I need to do, and so glad I had my TKR when I did.

I learned so much and was so encouraged and supported by you all, especially the group that was in the thick of healing when I came on board in January - Doug, Pattipoo, Sue (Nursepair), Carolyn (Beachcomber), Gat, Jamie, Jim, a few that left us a while back, and of course our blessed Josephine. You are all like family to me. We've laughed together and cried together, been through deaths, births, dog illnesses, recipes, shared photos, make up tips, shopping ideas, and stories, and words simply cannot express all I owe you for being there for me 24/7 during the hard times.

I will pop in off and on to check on folks, so don't get too comfy without me! You all will have your time when you find you aren't posting as much or needing so much support - because you are doing so great!

If you want to stay in touch long term (and you aren't already on my email list) just PM me.

I love you all and pray for your continued healing and that the journey to normal provides as many blessings for you as mine has. You all are the best!!
All you all!

God speed and God bless you all!
Skeet

Bless you, Skeet. You've been a wonderful participant here as have Doug, ref and Patti and so many others. But don't forget, we could use your help occasionally to share with new members.

I'll be around off and on. Just more off than on :) Wanted folks to know it was because I was doing so well! Everyone reaches this point sooner or later! But the forum is still on my list of favs, so this isn't goodbye, just sayin'

And obviously my goodbye didn't go so well..I've posted---what four/five times already.
Like Skeet, I will be back, just not as often. But then, if the monkey starts acting up and I sitting around, I'll jump back on.

what a wonderful testament to this forum and its participants ... help is always here when you need it - before, during, after, day and night, more or less -- as much or as little as is needed. i don't post often since most times the answer i'm seeking already exists. a beginning, maintenance and an ending and sometimes - revisit! someone is always here ands that is SPECIAL

Char - good to "see" you! I loved your photo. You are quite the looker! With good knees you'll be riding your bike all over the place! Maybe to Oregon???
