Cement vs Cementless

I understand that there are two approaches to knee replacement surgery: cement and cementless. I understand that the cementless approach allows the bone to grow into the replacement. Consequently, the recovery period is longer. I would like to know if someone could share the advantages and any other disadvantages of the cementless approach.
