Spouse wanted me to go with Smith-Nephew, as he knows the legal team. I'm like whatever, they're my knees and I'll use what my Doc wants. : )

Hi Rachell! This thread is designed to be a poll for the various types of implants. You might want to create your own "before surgery" thread so that more people will see it and provide the comments you are looking for.

An Oxford Hemi/Partial... no choice and didn't know better.
It seems to be working OK, has lasted longer than the 5 months which is the shortest time limit that I have read of. Long may it last !! (As in Long live the Queen)

I'll be having a Biomet Vanguard SIgnature Series in April. My ortho apparently likes Biomet products as I have a Biomet Oxford knee in my other knee.
