    Bilateral THR July 6, 2017<

Thanks @Josephine Interesting read, do you think I should make an appointment with my OS, or do you think I should just live with it and it may or may not get better or worse? It’s tolerable more annoying than anything. Doesn’t change much. Sent from my iPhone using BoneSmart mobile app

    Bilateral THR July 6, 2017<

Well it has been full 6 months! Once again, most days I never even think about my surgery and the horrible year I had leading up to it. Here in Vermont it has been brutally cold so I have not been skiing yet, but it is on my list. I can lift, move, balance on either leg, and do just about...

    Bilateral THR July 6, 2017<

Hi all... , just a quick update, I just realized that today is my four month anniversary of my BTHR. I am back to work, most days I do not think at all about this crazy invasive surgery. I still have scars, it’s funny the incisions are still healing I am sure, I catch myself massaging them and...

    THR Time for Change^

Hi @Scubedoo9 I had bilateral surgery on July 6 of this year, I spent two nights in the hospital, one night on my sofa and on my second night home I climbed 13 stairs to my bed, not very gracefully but I made it and it was less than a week after that I was stepping step over step not doing it...

    Hi, I'm new

Bilateral is the way to go in my opinion anyway. Get it over and done with one surgery. Wishing you well on your research, don't overthink it and put yourself in the hands of those that know what they're doing :-) Sent from my iPhone using BoneSmart Forum

    Hi, I'm new

Hi @Gretel Sorry your hip and back pain has been restricting your life. I was in the same boat, with the hips anyway, the surgery was the best thing I did. I read so much on it I had of time, tried the steroid hip injections, no luck with those. My recovery was a good one, we had great...

    THR New Hip New Me

Hi HipnewKaz I am about an nine and a half weeks out from my surgery, and like you I had an excellent recovery. It was a breeze, so not like the terror and pain I was expecting. Once I got off of my crunches, after about one week, took off and never looked back. Never had bruising never had...
