One week done already which is incredible. The time goes by so quickly.I have been RICE ,managing my pain and sleeping. Relax and let nature take its course,the body knows how to repair, you just need lots of patience. Give yourself time your body will repair all by itself. Take care x- LuluArchie

I was just thinking about my knee and it feels like I have a tight band on my knew knee. It doesn’t feel terrible just very different. Also my heal is very numb on the operated leg. I can feel my toes on that foot but not my heal. Any ideas? Best wishes x- LuluArchie

Hi everyone, I can’t believe that it’s a week ago today that I had my new knee. I am doing very well this time, I’m not as anxious and basically taking everything in my stride. Next week the clips come out and I see my Consultant on the 3/04/18. Hopefully all will continue to do well .- LuluArchie

Hi Eeek, how’s it going? I’m so glad that it’s all over now. I came home from hospital on Friday, so was in for 3 days. I’m more confident with this knee. I am sleeping and resting loads. I can manage to shower and move around a lot better. Hope you feel better soon. Rest up.- LuluArchie

Thank you @SusieShoes, yes all done now. I am up and about today. Sitting in the chair I already have a 90 degree bend. This knee is so much better than my left. I am taking it easy and not being too brave when it comes to pain relief. I’m very lucky I am being looked after very well.- LuluArchie

Not long to go now until my 2nd TKR
Thank you Jaycey, I am very excited to get this operation under way. I'm hoping in about 12 weeks, I will be all mended and ready for the Summer. I am going to buy myself a lovely bicycle to cycle a long the promenade, as a treat for having both my knees replaced. Speak soon.- LuluArchie
