THANKS SO MUCH FOR WISHES AND GUIDANCE. While I knew better than to press down on my knee, I had a few hours of panic--thanks for bringing me back around! My post-surgery walking has been curtailed by snow/ice on streets and sidewalks--even with shoe chains it can be risky. I'll try to get to the mall and do a few walk-a-rounds even if it's just the day before the second TKR---that might calm my pre-hospital jitters as well or at least take them down a couple of notches.
